No thanks. I would rather not participate in rating.
I am very happy with this visor and the visor looks great on my truck and I get compliments on it every day. It took a minute to figure out the best way to install it since there's no video showing how to install a new visor on a kenworth t680 2016 or what tools you need to install the inserts sent with the visor. I am going to give everyone the secret that you need to know that you have to do to understand how the inserts are properly used. You have to get a specific tool to install a insert. It is around 100.00 dollars for the tool. I'm going to give you the alternative option to use the inserts and it's a cost of around 3.00 dollar. Get a bolt that will screw into the insert 1 1/2 in long also get two flat washers that are about a nickle in size and a regular nut . Put the insert in the drilled hole size the instructions give you but you need to put in the order of flat washer nut and 2nd flat washer and then screw into the insert. You will need to use a wrench to hold the nut and it's best to use a variable speed hammer drill to get the best results but you can use regular drill but go slow and screw the bolt hex head holding the nut in place to get the insert to pan out like a mushroom on the inside of the hole in order to get the insert to stay in place to be able to screw the mount bolt given with the visor installation kit that will hold the visor brackets and support the visor too your roof and your visor will be installed just as a factory visor is installed on a new truck. If you are interested in doing this for yourself and save hundreds of dollars on a shop that you can find too even install a visor this is what you need to do it for yourself and won't get anyone to tell you exactly how to install a new visor. I am a owner operator who is mechanically inclined from my military years of desel mechanic experience and I have been trying to find out how to do my own repairs for my truck that doesn't require any computer to get the issue resolved. I am going to give the best advice for my fellow drivers who are not given the information that they need to be able to get the repairs done by their own knowledge and then get them back on the road and put the money saved in making their families needs taken care of not a mechanic shop and then wait for days to get looked at for them to tell you what is wrong with the truck and the time to get it repaired and then you are losing income for a week or longer. If you want to change things to be able to learn how to do the job and not be pawns in a shop. You can educate yourself on the youtube videos that are available to show you how to replace remove and install a new part in half the time is the most important thing that a owner operator can do to make their business successful and to start a new way of doing business with yourself doing your own repairs. You can also get any part far less than any dealership in the truck parts stores in your area and you can find any other parts on the internet stores that have been getting new and used products available for the best price and can get the part in a few days and then fix the problem yourself as soon as you can put it on your truck. Last thing that you need to get is a OTR performance code computer that you can use to force a regen or clear any engine code and you’ll save the cost of 200 to 300 to connect to the truck and have a mechanic shop clear them for you and not to mention the time they are going to take too get a mechanic to work on your truck. It will cost you 800 dollars but you are not ever going to have to pay a shop to get the same thing as the OTR does that you are able to do every time you get a check engine light on and you can repair the problem yourself and to be able to clear the codes and get back to work as soon as you want.
