Ford Lincoln Mercury Steering Column Shift Tube And Plunger Kit F57Z-7212-A 
Based on the description, I assumed I was purchasing a Motorcaraft kit. Not the case, I received a Dorman kit. It didn't come with instructions so I had to refer to my shop manual for proper lubricating points and torque specs. Nevertheless, the part is a perfect fit and working flawlessly on my 350,000 mile 1998 Expedition. The OEM tube had a broken bolt hole ear at the shift cable connector and excessive play at the shift lever. This kit resolved all my issues.
Having issues removing key. Need to lift gear selector.
