Warranty Information
American Racing Wheels Warranty Policy
American Racing Wheels' (ARW) aftermarket limited warranty states that their wheels will be free from structural failure under normal and intended use for five years (5 yrs.) from the manufacturer's date stamped on the wheel. ARW further warrants, to the original retail purchaser, that products manufactured will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal or intended use for a period of two years (2 yrs.) from the date of purchase from the retailer. Steel wheels have a three-year (3 yrs.) structural warranty and a one-year (1 yr.) warranty on the paint finish, excluding surface rust which can be prevented by proper care, or can be accelerated by improper (or lack of) care, and therefore is not covered. Chrome-plated aluminum wheels have a two-year (2 yrs.) warranty against chrome peeling or lifting on the face of the wheel only. Polished and machined aluminum wheels oxidize and require regular maintenance. Their finish is not covered by this warranty. ARW's SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE OBLIGATION under this warranty shall be to repair or replace at their sole discretion, any product that does not confirm to this warranty and is returned for visual inspection, with a copy of the original sales receipt, to the retailer or wholesale dealer from which the product was originally purchased. Such repair or replacement shall not include removal or installation. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE MANUFACTURER BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
This Warranty Does NOT Apply to:
- A. Damage due to failure to follow instructions in the owner's manual supplied with each wheel.
- B. Corrosion/damage due to improper maintenance, other than the recommended procedures included in the owner's manual.
- C. Damage or structural failure as a result of an accident or road conditions.
- D. Damage or structural failure as a result of racing applications.
